Hi! I am Christine,

I am a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist with over 20 years of experience. I am a local to Northern California and have been dreaming of starting Nutrition for Daily Living since first becoming a Registered Dietitian. It is important to me that each person feels supported and empowered with not only information but the tools for lifelong health.  

Healthcare can feel complex and overwhelming at times. Through a non-judgmental and personalized approach, I support my clients by simplifying the complex and creating realistic steps to reach health goals. Together we identify practices that can become part of YOUR daily life. 

 

BACKGROUND & EDUCATION  

Expert in the field of nutrition and diabetes, I have served as a preceptor, speaker, webinar developer and association board member. I have worked across health systems gaining experience in Endocrinology clinics, Primary Care, Telemedicine Rural Health, and Virtual-First Primary Care. I hold advanced certification of training in adult weight management and person-centered care for individuals who have higher weight. I am specialized in advanced diabetes management, women’s health (PCOS) and general nutrition. I love tech and am a Certified Product Trainer.

On the path to becoming a Registered Dietitian, I completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Dietetics with a minor in Psychology at California State University, Chico; a Master’s of Science in Nutrition- Clinical Counseling at Bastyr in Seattle; and a Dietetic Internship at California State University, Sacramento.  I am a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists.
